TMA-122 radar solutions

The TMA-122 is an “all-in-one” radar for traffic signal regulation.  It is a non intrusive sensor designed to detect moving as well as stopped vehicles.

The TMA-122 detects the vehicles approaching the stop-line, on a 60 m distance.  2 relays are activated:

• one when a vehicle is approaching in the 60 m area;

• the other one when a vehicle moves or stops in a 10 m area (factory setting-adjustable) before de stop line.  This relay allows as well to count the vehicles passing the stop-line.

Cost-effective and very easy to install, it can be applied to :

• Green phase calling

• Green phase extending

• Stop line detection

• Stop line counting

 etc.

TMB-134 : multi-lane intersection radar sensor

Icoms Detections launches its multi-lane intersection radar detector, the TMB-134. It is capable of detecting movement and presence on multiple lanes and can emulate up to nine inductive loops per radar.

  • detects approaching vehicles/bicycles as well as stop-line presence
  • non-intrusive, high-precision detection
  • tailored to crossings with 2 or 3 lanes in one direction, with dedicated phases for turn-right and turn-left lanes
  • provided with software for easy configuration, without any disruption of traffic
  • easy and quick settings modification in case of road works or new junction configuration
  • communicate directly with the controller using RS-485 serial communication line or dry contact relays
  • can easily be placed on existing poles or traffic lights

The first successful test was performed in Brussels, with the help of Dynniq and the Brussels Mobility traffic lights management team.

The TMB-134 will be a cost-efficient and easy-to-install alternative to intrusive or image processing based technologies for multi-lane traffic management.

TMA-3B3

The TMA-3B3 collects and reports bicycle measurement data autonomously, anywhere, anytime.

It combines a RADAR sensor with a LIDAR to provide an accurate counting of bicycles on bicycle paths. The data is stored locally and forwarded to the server using a connected modem.

  • High level accuracy: 98 % in rush hour
  • Ability to count bicycles in a group
  • Non intrusive
  • Day and night equal performance
